So i’m back in sunny Singapore. Melbourne was fantastic as usual- i got to spend loads of time with my sweetheart and closest friends.
As i had so much fun doing up the last post focusing solely on photos, i decided to do another one of my trip. Be warned though that there are a truckload of photos in this post. For that reason, they’re posted a size smaller than usual but click on them to view them at a larger size on Flickr.
So without further delay, let the photos rolls!
The best roast duck i’ve ever had, and believe me, i’ve had a lot of roast duck. I make it a point to have this at least once every time i head back to Melbourne.
Salted egg chicken ribs. A friend of mine recommended this dish to me so i ordered it and was instantly hooked. The combination of the saltiness and juicy chicken is simply out of this world.
GT’s specialty- mee suah soup. Usually served on birthdays as the Chinese believe that noodles represent longevity, I actually never had it till GT made it for me. It was the first time he had ever cooked for me and I have to admit that i was really impressed.
A really yummy lemon tart i had with two friends when we caught up for lunch. The wait for the table was totally worth it.
My friend’s really decadent chocolate cake- it sure fixed that chocolate craving she had.
A quick tea i had with friends after a afternoon of shopping.
Really good dim sim at a Chinese restaurant a friend brought me to. It was a pretty nice change from my usual dim sum place.
Loading up on a little sugar before our shopping trip
At a tea store in Melbourne. They have like a million types of tea there with really interesting flavours.
Really cute teaspoons, also at the tea store.
Breakfast on our last day on Apollo Bay, Great Ocean Road. It was the only day we were there that Bimbo’s was open so since i was dying to eat there, we just had to fit it in. I had the poached pear with yogurt while GT had the big breakfast- both were really good and left us fuelled up for the long drive back.
An opera cake we had on St Kilda’s Road. I always love walking past the long stretch of cake stores with their wonderful displays of pastries, cakes and all sorts of desserts.
A triple chocolate mousse dessert i shared with a friend visiting Melbourne (hi sweetie!) at Brunetti. They have the most gorgeous range of cakes.
Minature desserts i had with friends after cheap pizzas and beer at a really cute, tiny dessert place.
